Language organization in brain on the basis on aphasia studies
Posted at: 2022-02-15 03:45:12
Hello,
I am student in my second year at Teacher Training College of Foreign Languages in Poland. I am working on my project on aphasia. I need some information about organization of language in brain on the basis on aphasia studies. Let’s say that when an aphasic person is asked to read ‘liberty’ from a card he/she produces ‘freedom’ as can’t find ‘liberty’ in his/her lexicon and produces a similar word with many identical semantic properties. It proves that we organize words in brain semantically (among others). That is what kind of information I need very much. Could you please provide me with some links of websites, e-books, articles etc. where I could find this? I will be highly grateful. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Natalia Suta
